TES (Temporary Employment Service) Administrator

This role is within the Temporary Employment Service (TES) team. The TES team is a busy team that administers the provision of temporary workers to departments and institutions across the collegiate university.
The Role:
As a TES Administrator at Cambridge you will undertake key administrative, process and customer service responsibilities as well as financial and statistical administration.
Your main duties will include:
- Processing payroller worker requests received from clients. A payroller request is where the client has already selected who will undertake the work assignment for them and TES are then engaged to undertake the administration. This includes:
- Ensuring the details of the request are suitable for TES work;
- Contacting the worker to arrange for the receipt of documentation;
- Conducting the worker's right to work check;
- Maintaining and updating worker, client and assignment records;
- Issuing assignment paperwork to workers and clients;
- Answering queries and explaining TES policies and procedures to clients and workers via email, telephone, video call and face to face;
- Overseeing a busy shared email inbox;
- Monitoring data quality, cleansing it as necessary e.g. closing worker records when no work has been undertaken for a period of time;
- Supporting the Recruitment Coordinators with administrative tasks;
- Liaising with the Finance Division on payments received into TES and chasing for outstanding payments. Resolving invoice queries from clients.
About you:
In order to succeed in this role, you will join us with:
- A strong affinity for process driven administrative work;
- Substantial experience in an administrative role and a good foundation in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
- The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy with excellent attention to detail;
- Evidence of strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to successfully present information through a variety of communication methods;
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is a key skill;
- An innovative and flexible approach, with the ability to plan your workload over the short to medium term, contributing to wider project work as required.
