Communications and Events Administrator (Fixed Term)


Applications are invited for a new Events and Communication Administrator at the Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CHIA). This is an exciting opportunity to support the operation of CHIA through a variety of communication and external engagement related administrative tasks.

Reporting to the Centre Co-ordinator, the role will largely focus on the coordination of a growing portfolio of event and outreach activities, the annual CHIA conference, website, newsletters, and social media management. This is a diverse and dynamic role, and the role holder may be asked to undertake other duties as appropriate.

The post holder is expected to take a proactive and flexible approach to their work and will have relevant administrative experience including website content management systems and social media, and excellent planning and organisational skills. The post is full-time, but a part-time job share can be considered.

Fixed term: Funding for this post is available for 2 years in the first instance.
