Research Assistant (Fixed Term)


We are pleased to advertise a research assistant position within the Genomic Disorders and Cognitive Development programme, led by Dr Kate D. Baker.

The programme takes an interdisciplinary approach to characterising phenotypes and understanding mechanisms in neurodevelopmental disorders of genetic origin.

Applicants should be motivated to carry out participant-centred cognitive neuroscience research. The postholder will work together with other group members to recruit participants, organise assessments and support the collection of neuroimaging data. The post is available for a two year period.

An undergraduate degree in psychology or neuroscience or related field is required. Experience of conducting hands-on research with children or adults is desirable. Experience of working with children or adults with rare conditions, learning disability or mental health difficulties is also desirable.

Start date: as soon as possible

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
